"In Blue" A duo jazz concert with French pianist, Clément Hubert

« Since arriving to Paris from Texas, I have discovered that one of my favorite activities is going to the jazz club, Sunset Sunside at Châtlet-Les Halles. I often go with my friends on the 5th floor of the Fondation Des États-Unis. The musicians I have heard perform at Sunset have inspired me to recreate the experience of a Parisian jazz club at Cité Universitaire, but with a personal spin—I am also performing a work by a Mexican composer, to honour my Mexican heritage. The result is a concert incorporating various musical styles: the blues, the « boogie-woogie, » New Orleans jazz, Latin-American jazz, and French modern jazz.
